A Unique Wedding Ceremony for You

Before the Ceremony

First Consultation

Our first meeting is complimentary, of course.  We’ll get to know one another and go over your vision for your wedding ceremony.  I will answer your preliminary questions.

Secure the Date

Planning a wedding ceremony takes time. It’s my suggestion that you not wait to decide who will officiate at your wedding. If you wish me to be your officiant, a non-refundable deposit of $50 holds the date on my calendar.

Secure your Location

If your wedding will not be occurring in a church, there are many lovely sites to consider. Some of my favorites are on the Resources page.

Pre-Marriage Preparation

Once a couple agrees to marry, they often focus all their attention on planning the entire celebration. The more you know about each other before the wedding, the better prepared you are to meet the challenges of creating a home and family together.

Because I value and respect the challenges and rewards of commitment and marriage, I recommend we spend a few sessions looking beyond the wedding ceremony to how your relationship may work and evolve in marriage.

I am especially trained to use the Prepare / Enrich process as a tool in exploring and deepening your relationship.

To begin, each of you participates in an online survey that explores your thoughts and feelings about communication, conflict, managing finances, family, children, spirituality, and sexual fulfillment. Your answers are blended into a report that is a very effective tool for building a healthy foundation for marriage.

Second marriages present particular challenges. There is a Prepare / Enrich survey designed for these couples.

Investment

Participation in the Prepare/Enrich survey costs $30 per couple. We will then spend 3-5 sessions celebrating your strengths and exploring your growth areas.

Marriage Preparation sessions are offered on a sliding scale that begins at $70 per hour.
