It is my role to assure that the form and content of your wedding or union ceremony is creative, unique and dignified. I offer two types of ceremonies: Simple Wedding and Unique Wedding, The Process First we meet to discuss your hopes and dreams for your wedding. If time is short, you may choose to have me prepare a simple ceremony for you. If there are a few months yet before your date, we will have time to work together to create a unique ceremony. Your ceremony will be a collage of elements which reflect your heritage and life experience as separate persons, your hopes and dreams as a couple, and your personal sense of spiritual or religious connection. Simple: Using my resources, I create a ceremony and include simple vows or vows you have written. Unique: Using my resources or any you find elsewhere, together you choose readings and vows. You are welcome to write your own vows if you wish. In addition, I will include: Your Story One of my favorite parts is getting to know you so I can write your personal “story” to include in the ceremony. Couples often tell me that this is the highlight of their ceremony. Investment Simple Ceremony: Standard ceremony designed by me including standard vows. One meeting with couple, arrive 1 hour before ceremony; prepare and sign documents and file license with county. $250 Unique Ceremony: Three meetings with couple using my personal resources and worksheet to design your unique ceremony, including your story, local rehearsal, arrive one hour before ceremony, prepare and sign documents, file license with county. Includes six month follow-up at your discretion. $500 Travel: If your wedding is outside the Portland Metro area, such as Hood River, Timberline Lodge, or the coast, additional travel charges will apply. |
